I. Don't. Want. To. Talk. About. It.

I just hope I can talk my way back into the program during the oral portion.

Oh Krissy, I'm sorry it didn't go your way.

Thanks. I'm just hoping this is a case of "it's never as bad as you think" but I have my doubts.

Worst case: I have to take it again. Embarrassing and annoying, but not the end of the world.

Best case: I can salvage it during the oral.

Oh no! I sort of messed the written portion of my exam too - I guess you just study what you effed up and hope they give you a chance to redeem yourself! Good luck! May the Pepper be with you!

I'll say this - I was confident that I would not pass until they actually told me so. Seriously, while I was waiting for them to let me back into the room, I had a panic attack and began considering alternate career options.

I won't say don't worry about it, because I know you will. But keep your confidence up. Also, know that the oral is more about justifying your arguments than proving you know everything about media studies.
